Band history

Coverstar were formed in 1997. The following year the band (then called The Cedar Tree) won the NABS Battle of the Bands competition at the Hippodrome, Leicester Square.

Since then we've performed at numerous parties, weddings, corporate functions and charity events throughout the UK and also in Portugal and Spain. In 2003 we recorded several tracks that were used in the Channel 4 drama "40" starring Eddie Izzard.
